1. In chapter 21 James calls Bella telling her he has her mother and the only way he won't kill her is if Bella comes alone. What would you do in that situation? Come alone or tell Alice and Jasper?
You know that always stumped me on how she got away from Alice…it made no sense that Bella could have gotten away so quick!!! Anyways... had it been me I would have told them and then made a plan avoiding the entire broken leg, broken head, bitten arm and freaking my boyfriend out to the point of him wanting to skip town…..
2. Was everyone else as shocked as I was when I first found out about the Alice/James situation? Do you think this adds to the story line or was it not needed? Why do you think they choose not to include these details in the movie?
I think it adds to the story line in the sense that it gives the Alice back-story, however why didn't Edward see that when he was in James head??? It would have made more sense for Edward to find out.

3. Edward had to do something extremely difficult in order to save Bella from becoming a vampire. Have you ever had a similar situation in your life where you had to push your will power to its limits?
I guess the only thing that has pushed me to the limits was giving birth to my second child, I was alone, my husband had just come down on orders from the Army and was in a different state getting our housing ready.
When I went into labor I had to get myself to the hospital and by the time I got there I seriously thought I was going to die, my labor was in full-swing and my baby was facing the wrong way creating intense back pain. It was happening so fast that the nurses said I couldn't get any pain meds. Because of the way the baby was facing they made me do all these crazy aerobic movements to get the baby in position, I was yelling at them and swearing like a sailor. Ive never experienced pain like that and at one point the Dr. told me if I didn't claim down and get the baby moved they would have to do an emergency C-section. That whole concept of them cutting me freaked me out and a mental clarity came over me to concentrate on getting that baby to flip over. I did and had her naturally....
4. Bella and Edward get into the "to change Bella or not to change Bella" argument in the hospital. If you were Bella, would you want to become a vampire? Why or why not?
Yeah, I guess I would have…..It would be an inevitable outcome, either ditch the vamp-guy and move on to normal guy…aka…Mike or become a vampire to live eternally with Eddie, not a hard choice if I was Bella and seeing how never having to get sick, get cramps, get fat, get old, get zits, Um sign me up for Team Vampire please.

5. Twilight ends with everyone going to the prom. Did you go to your prom? Was your experience similar to Bella's? Feel free to include pictures!!
I went to my senior prom with my soon to be husband, I had a blast we did the whole before prom, after prom party and day after to Cedar Point prom thing with a group of friends…….LOL look at that picture...
EXTRA: So, it's over...Final thoughts?
Um yeah...what happened to Edwards hair???

Celeb/Twilight pics found at Weheartit.com-ComicCon

cute pic of senior prom ;) Team vamp all the way.
ReplyDeleteOMG! You lived through my worst fear! I was so afraid I'd get to the hospital to deliver the twins and someone would tell me I was too late for the epidural! As soon as I arrived, I told everyone I wanted one...I might have even mentioned it to the orderly mopping the floor.
ReplyDeleteI am drawing a blank on the James/Alice connection for some reason. I'll have to pull out the book and see what you're talking about.
And love the prom picture!
I think everyone agrees that Bella was stupid for not involving the vampires in her life in the fight against James.
ReplyDeleteAlso, your birth story scares me! lol I mean you are a champion mother but as someone who doesn't have kids yet...eek! lol.
Plus, love the prom pic...I went to prom with the guy who became my husband too. People love seeing those pics...not so flattering for me!
Love your answers! Yes, for team vampire! I would agree with childbirth, I was induced with both of mine and had them naturally with no pain meds, Ouch! So sweet you went to prom with your hubby! Edward's hair, I know right? I don't think he ever gave an explanation? Weird.
ReplyDeletegreat point on Edward picking up the James thing. WOW! you are a better woman than me. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed reading your answers each week.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's quite a story about having your daughter Tina! I was panicked for you just reading it! I most definitely would have been swearing like a sailor as well, I feel bad already for the staff of whatever hospital I have my future children in:) And look at you guys at prom! So cute:)
ReplyDeleteWow is right what the heck did he do to it? I hope it was a bet of some sort because yuck. Girl love your prom pic, and love the fact that you and your hubby were highschool sweethearts that is awesome. Also I feel yea with the vampire thing having no cramps, zits, pain. It would be awesome. I would only do it though with a lot of thought and if I loved someone who was one. Great answers girl.
ReplyDeleteGreat prom pic! Cuss like a sailor?? I take offense to that, just kidding, we are a Navy family :) I had 3 c-sections, so your story scares the crap out of me! Labor and actual delivery scared me to death! Glad I only labored (with drugs) the first two times and had to have c-sections...I didn't think about it all too much, just knew it would all be over!
ReplyDeleteOh man.. your labor sounds a lot like my sister's. Same thing happened to her. She had a 30 minute window to push that baby out or else they'd be doing an emergency c-section. She focused hard & out he came. Much respect for you Mommy's out there!
ReplyDeleteP.S. love the prom photo!
You know, I was wondering why Alice let Bella get away with that stunt. It really sounded like Alice saw a snippet from the future involving Bella's new plan....why didn't she tell Jasper?
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine giving birth without my hubs being there! And wow, no pain meds? You get a gold star for that!
You are SO right about Edward and #2! I never thought about it that way!
ReplyDeleteHaving babies is VERY difficult...I should have mentioned that for that!
We went to Six Flag Theme Park after Prom!!! :)
What the hell did happen to his flipping hair?!
It usually doesn't bother us L&D nurses when women in labor yell at us! Either we've been there/done that and totally understand...or we've seen so many go thru it that we at least have an appreciation for it. When a baby comes out healthy, I always felt a rush like I had completed a marathon! (AND an exhaustion the same way, lol)
ReplyDeleteAlso..."Um sign me up for Team Vampire please"...LOVE IT! Team Edward forever. I'd be a vampire for him too!

awww your prom pic is too cute! While I didn't enjoy Twilight, I enjoyed reading your thoughts, and yes, Twilight (the film) totes blew chunks ;)
ReplyDeleteYay! Fun prom picture. Those were the days, eh!
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I'm still wondering what kind of shaving accident Rob got into. That do is crazy, yo.
There are so many endearing snippets in this post I don't know where to start!
ReplyDelete1- I love that Snape caption!
2- Holy bageezus woman, you are amazingly strong your labor and delivery.. yiukes!
3- WTF was RP thinking on the hair? "I want to go punk, but I missed and went slacker grunge"
@Tipsy and Misse...LOL Slacker grunge- thats funny!!! And maybe he's playing a freaky clown in some new movie.....
ReplyDelete@Sweetestbookworm- You are awesome!! Being a Labor nurse takes guts....
@BookVixen- I had my other 2 girls with Epi's and I have to say pain free is the way to go...HOWEVER having my 2nd natural was painful but Ive never felt so alive after...I had an intense energy rush...it was awesome!!
@Cici- oh my gosh 3 C-sections!!! I had a C-section with number 3 and it was so TERRIBLE!! I didnt feel normal for about 6 months after that birth. It was such a bad experience I dont ever want to be preg. again.
@TheLreads- Dont be scared blog friend..:D Having babies is a beautiful thing...and while I was in pain, seeing that little girl afterwards...I would do again for her in a heartbeat!!!
To everyone- LOl yes those were the days...before babys and bills!!!
@TheLreads- Ummmm please ignore the comment I made to Cici...really having babies is awesome!!!

LOL! I think Edward decided to stop getting his hair cut halfway through!
ReplyDeleteAnd gorgeous prom picture. How is awesome is it that you went with your hubby to be!
I second that! What the frack did happen to Edward's hair? At least Jacob is still feeling the hottness. Even if he is like *cough cough* 9 years younger than me.
