Read-Along Fairy Metal Thunder- Week 4- The Last!

Welcome, to the Fairy Metal Thunder Scavenger hunt read-along!! Today is week 4 and our last discussion together. Questions this week were provided by Jen at In the Closet and you can link up at her blog.

HUNT 4

Grizelmore the Goblin has some really weird cravings and eating habits. Tell us about some of your weird eating habits. Bonus point if you can show me a picture!

I don't think I have any super weird eating habits. Well I guess maybe weird could be that sometimes I like to dip my pizza in Ranch dressing. I really like Ranch, I eat it on salads, use it as a dip for chicken and carrots, even put a little on my baked potato, yeah I could probably put it on everything.

In chapter 22 Aiode and her friends try to go and get their instruments replaced at the factory. There are a ton of different instruments there being made for the fairies, but man are they a fortune. Do any of you play any instruments? Have you ever played an instrument? If not, what would you play if you could?

Sadly, I do not play any instruments, if I could I would play the piano. The hubs is super talented when it comes to music, he plays the Guitar and can sing pretty good, so my kids are all into music. My oldest can play the Violin, the Drums, the Keyboard and plays Guitar with her dad. My middle child only does the Guitar right now, and my little one, well she can shake one of those Tambourine things.

Jason and the band are finally discovered by the elf (with the crazy long name) and Buttercake the freaking adorable unicorn who turns into something not so adorable. If you were a detective who would you choose for your magical accomplice?

Id probably go with Balthazar, he's got super skills and can bust through walls while having the ability to melt knees in the process. We might have trouble with water but he can just bite peoples necks and get all the info he needs.

**Update at 2:50 PM- Im officially changing my answer to Gandalf the Grey.......I love him, there I said it.

The book ends on a happy but painful note. What do you think of the ending? Were you happy with the turn of events?

Yes I liked the end, however, Im sorry guys I have to say it: I didn't like that the end put Erin in the cheating circle. Cheating and me are having issues in books right now, it seems to be in everything, and its of course all over everywhere.....{Kristen & Rupert...my Facebook is exploding....lol...}

Tell us your favorite quote(s)/part(s) from the book!

I didn't really have a favorite part....but I did love the Grizel Goblin, he was funny and Buttercup was pretty cool. All in all it was a cute, fun story.

I also wish I was musically inclined. Maybe one day I'll actually play the electric violin.

I would eat everything with ranch if I could. Except it's not so good on beef. Lol! I eat mine with French fries and pizza and all the things you listed too.

Also, i'm unhappy about Erin and the cheating circle too!

  • Yeah ranch dressing! *high five* I dunk my pizza in it too! Everything is better with ranch I always say ;-) And a big fat Grrrrrr to cheating. I don't like the sound of that at all. I think we've discussed this in comments before. I just don't deal well with it.

  • Mmm I love ranch dressing. It pretty much goes with almost anything. Ahhh the cheating thing!! I know. I am kind of upset that Erin would do that, but in general I thought the ending was good. (Damn Kristen Stewart too. WTF was she thinking?!!)

I really wish I could slap Kristen across the face! Though, knowing those two, all the drama is probably just a publicity stunt. Sure, they act like they are a private couple, but they really thrive on all this attention. Or maybe I'm just bitter. LOL

I love RANCH! I put it on everything too.

And your hubs is a musician? LUCKY!

P.S. Oh, and I have to thank you, my friend. Ever since I put Crow Row on my wishlist on Amazon, I've been getting a lot of "captive erotica" reading suggests! Can you say awkward when I was looking for a running belt with my mom on Amazon the other day!!!

    1. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA- Its not a captive erotica book!!!! That is awesome.

My hubs is great, he even has a little group he jams with and they play at weddings and small events, its pretty cool, buttttttt, the whole hot musician factor is really not a factor, my hubs is the youngest and he's 36. Its funny to see 40 year old dudes rocking out. I just told him, its sexy now but when your old like Aerosmith, time to stop.
