25 Days of Jubilation!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Today its TBR's turn on the 25 days of Jubilation. A Christmas celebration hosted by some groovy gals. So in honor of the season and the giving spirit Im sharing my top five Christmas movies with you all and giving away a special treat at the end of the post.

Tinas Favorite Christmas Movies

A Christmas Story

This is my number one favorite! We watch this every year on that 24 hour marathon on TBS or TNT..(whatever one...). Its on usually at least for 6 hours while I wrap presents and bake Christmas cookies. Its kind of like its not Christmas unless I see it at least once. I can quote the entire movie, its pretty hilarious.......

"I said the mother of all swears...The F- dash dash dash!!!!

Elf

How can you not like this movie? Will Ferrell is so funny, it doesn't matter that I've seen this 5000 times, it just gets funnier everytime I watch it. At some point I want to work up the courage to answer my phone and ask people what their favorite color is.

Comfort and Joy

So this is probably the cheesiest most corny movie ever....but I absolutely adore it. Its the classic what if story but I really loved the acting and entire feel of the movie. I even bought this movie so I could watch it every year...even though its on Lifetime 20 times throughout the season.
Die Hard

My favorite 80's action movie and it takes place on Christmas. What more could you ask for? A young hot Bruce Willis celebrating the season with a psycho killer. Classic!!!

Its A Wonderful Life

Ill admit while this is one of my favorite movies ever, I rarely watch it. Its kind of almost to sad. I only have a handful of black and whites that I enjoy and this one is by far done very well. Who can watch this and not get swept away by Stewart's performance?

GIVEAWAY

So today Im giving away one of my favorites and you get to choose. Up for grabs is a DVD copy of

Elf, Die Hard or A Christmas Story. This open to everyone including international as long as the Book Depo delivers. To enter just fill out the form.

Haha, love this list. I was wondering why The Cleveland Show did a parody of Die Hard for their Christmas special! Haha duh.

I love ELF! I always bust out singing at the end, I just can't help it. Also, can't help but gag at the gum part. LOL! I also love WHITE CHRISTMAS and MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, the new one. I love me some musicals. :D Oh, and THE SANTA CLAUSE starting Tim Allen. YAY for Christmas!

I've never seen Die Hard, so while I'm not sure it'll get me in the Christmas Spirit it's the one I entered to win! lol. But I will totally be watching A Christmas Story as well...that pink bunny costume...kills me every time!

  10. Hey, stranger? How have you been? Sorry I haven't been around. I've got your blog popping up in my e-mail now. Don't know why I didn't do that to begin with. *slaps head*
I think we have all of those films already, but thanks. One question: where's the Muppet Christmas Carol? I gotta' have that every year!
    Some horror writer, huh? ;)

  11. The only one I haven't seen is Comfort and Joy. All of the others I love! A Christmas Story just makes me laugh every stinkin time I watch it! So many scenes have me in stitches: Fra Gee Lee! Oh my goodness! And the big F dash dash dash! "You'll shoot your eye out!" and then Ralph stroking the plastic leg lamp! Has me in tears every time! And can't forget the lopping off of the duck head in the Chinese restaurant! A great movie!
