Review
Wow- the synopsis of this book can lead a person to extreme excitement, not only does this book do all that but it can also end world hunger and promote world peace!......I kid, I kid.
Kay's financial workout does make sense and I think for anyone who is in severe financial debt or struggling with credit cards and saving can benefit from reading this book. One of the first steps in the workout is taking a spending personality quiz and finding out exactly what type of spender you are. After Kay walks you through the process of becoming a more savvy spender and saver with the 60 minute workout. I personally kind of fell in the middle categories, Im a pretty smart shopper but I rarely cut coupons- my motto has always been once I buy the paper, drive to the store, buy the item with the coupon for more than the generic product, I haven't saved any money! I do agree however, never buy an item at full price.
I really liked the concept of ideas in this book and Ive decided I'm going to try paying off the my car on Kay's plan. Going on a budget is HARD but I think the ideas are practical and eases you into the steps rather than have you on rice and beans for a year. I would recommend this to anyone needing to gain control of their spending.
