Happy New Year!! I hope your holidays were great...well I guess tomorrow is technically the new year. Im looking forward to many great books and I have some great resolutions and new blog features to share with you.

So first off I want to give a big thanks to the lovely Jenn at  Sapphire Designs for creating some awesome feature buttons to use at Tinasbookreviews. The first is for my new feature Saturday Spotlight, a weekly feature that highlights an author, their book and occasional giveaway. This will run weekly and hopefully will be a great way for authors to introduce themselves to bloggers.



The second feature is a bi-weekly (or whenever Im in the mood) event called Shelf Cravings and was inspired by the countless number of meme's out there that focus on new release books. I wanted to have my own to share books Im looking forward to, books I want to read or books that I have just discovered. Sometimes a great book gets overlooked and a little hype might gain some new readers for that author.



Im still working on the mother/daughter review thing....we just haven't read the same book yet that I haven't already reviewed.......and with me reading so many review books and C with school stuff, we don't have time....someday we will do this!! My Resolutions for 2011

Ok so besides a spending budget to pay off my car and shedding 20 pounds my book goals include:

Read 150 books for 2011 and complete all challenges..
Read the entire Harry Potter Series
Which btw I joined two more....Parajunkee's Vampire Challenge and Book Soulmates Zombie Challenge...(I had to get a few monsters in there.....)

~Comment more on the blogs I love
~Become more picky in review books, not taking on everything, only books Ill actually read
~Have more contests and giveaways.

Well those are my main goals this year, Im hoping in 2012 Ill be walking faster, doing more than 2 push-ups, have no car payment and be able to say yeah I read those Harry books............
