Natalie North, the super sleuth who catches unfaithful partners with a spark of style and a great pair of high heels, will warm the hearts of readers.

I began writing stories at a young age, and upon my graduation from high school, I received a letter from an English teacher telling me that I should seriously consider a career as a writer. At the young age of eighteen, I had other aspirations in mind, but I did know that someday I would sit down and write novels. With a background in both law enforcement and communications/radio-TV-film, I came upon the idea to write a series based on a female private detective who solves crimes through comedy, grit, sheer determination and a touch of style and glamour. Like Natalie, the main character, I love fashion, style and makeup and I weave the glamour scene throughout the novel, which takes place in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area.

I am busy writing my second novel, Murder Can Be Complicated, which is the second book in the Natalie North series. I am also happy to share that in addition to novels, I am a screenwriter and I currently have two screenplays on the Hollywood market: Pretties on the Prowl (a female buddy comedy) and Fatal Forgiveness (a family drama).
